Questions...

Why is racial profiling bad for crime but good for national security?

Why is our dependence on foreign oil not seen as a significant threat to our national security if the people controlling it aren't acceptable to run our ports?

If tobacco and tobacco companies are so evil, why don't we just make it illegal?

What have we learned out of the whole Katrina debacle other than that the government (at all levels) is one great big bumbling bureacracy?

Why do people make claims that guaranteed health insurance is a constitutional right when, if that was obviously the case, the founders would have stated that in the constitution?

Considering we are a nation whose success arose from being able to produce things better and cheaper than the rest of the world, why don't we embrace competition now that the rest of the world is catching up?

Why does every article I ever read about global warming increasing always have a scientific argument against it actually occurring buried in the third to last paragraph?

Why do we preach health and fitness to children and then justify the school lunches we provide for them?

Why do we continue to spend more and more dollars on education when study after study have proven this doesn't work instead of spending more time finding out what is working and how to extrapolate that across the country?

Why can't the Players Union and the NFL just get along?

sigh...these questions make me feel really small...
