What do Wal-Mart and Iran have in common?
Nothing, except I'm talking about both today.
Iran today has announced "We will cause pain and hurt on the United States" for their role in bringing our nuclear program under review to the United Nations.
Ok. It's all our fault. Never mind finally, after years and years of harping on Iran to the United Nations that they have finally realized "Hey, that Ayatollah could be doing some bad crap." Never mind almost every country in the world is now united to ensuring weapons of mass destruction do not become candy to terrorist nations, or at least this terrorist nation.
Iran just thinks it's our fault.
It's things like this that make me wonder why we even bother to care what the world thinks of us anymore...
As for Wal-Mart, I've found a few neat articles worth sharing. If Wal-Mart bores you, ignore these. The whole Wal-Mart good/bad debate fascinates me, though, and if does any of you, these are some good articles to read. They cover both sides of the issue from an economic perspective:
The Man Who Said No to Wal-Mart
Opening up the big box - Measuring the Wal-Mart Effect
The Wal-Mart You Don't Know
Global Insight Releases New Study on the Impact of Wal-Mart on the U.S. Economy
The Fast Company Wal-Mart Blog - Day One
Hope you enjoy them!
